Before creating our first post let's talk about how the courses system is built. The Course and Store system are two separate Total CMS blog systems, let's take a look at how to create our first course. Check how you can use this setup to sell multi-lesson courses.
To give you a general idea of how it all works.
Cleo Pro is designed with the idea of offering free registration to interested users. Once a user registers for free will be added to Sitelok and will be then able to login. Once the user will login into your website he will be able to:
- View the full length of your blog posts
- Comment blog posts
- Purchase Online Courses
- View purchased courses from a private account
- Manage account data and information
You can ask users to make a payment for their registration if you wish, even charge a monthly subscription.
After a registered user buys a course from your store, he will be added to a specific Sitelok Usergroup. When the user visits his account page will now have access to all the courses associated to that same Sitelok Usergroup.
Following this guide you will:
- Create a Usergroup and Purchase Buttons from Sitelok cPanel.
- Create a course with content your readers would love to pay for!
- Create a product page for your store page (Marketers would call it a landing page).
Step 1 - Create a Usergroup and Purchase Buttons from Sitelok cPanel
Go to your admin area and click on the Sitelok button in the sidebar. You should be directed to the Sitelok cPanel.
